Cool FM sponsor Team Relay Prizes in 2020

The organisers of the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon are delighted to confirm Official Radio Sponsor, Cool FM will be providing the winning prizes for this year’s Team Relay event!
The Team Relay event takes place on Sunday 3rd May and is open to teams of two to five people, with leg distances ranging from 4 miles – 6.9 miles.
Prizes will be awarded to “all male”, “all female” and “mixed teams” who are placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and will include a fantastic range of Summer Festival tickets, sponsored by Cool FM. The concert prizes include Tom Jones (31st May, Botanic Gardens), Liam Gallagher (19th August, Boucher Playing Fields), JLS (13th November, SSE Belfast) and Elton John (30th November, SSE Belfast)!

Cool FM along with their sister stations Downtown Radio and Downtown Country are delighted to be involved in the largest mass sport participatory event for the first time as sponsors in 2020 and will also be competing on Marathon Sunday through the Team Relay event!
Katharine Walker presenter on the Cool Saturday Show will be leading one of the station’s relay teams, whilst some friendly competition will come from opposing team, fronted by Glen Pavis, presenter on Downtown Breakfast!

The 39th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will take place from the iconic Stormont Estate on Sunday 3rd May 2020, with a full line up of events to suit all levels of fitness including the Marathon and Wheelchair Race, the Team Relay, 8 Mile Walk and Fun Run. Participants are encouraged to #MakeItCount in 2020 and run, walk or wheel for Official Charity Partner, Cancer Focus NI to help more people survive from cancer.
