“I have a long relationship with the Belfast City Marathon. I can remember watching my father stride down Boucher Road during the first Belfast City Marathon in 1982. I also had the pleasure of pacing sub 3 hour 30 minute runners during the event a few years ago. I am delighted to be the Official Marathon Coach for the 2020 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon and look forward to coaching individuals and groups of runners to reach their goals for the 2020.”

1: If you get a cold or have a niggle take some time out. A couple of days off now could save you having to take a week off later.
2: On your long Sunday runs, try different gels to see which one will be the most effective for Marathon Sunday.
