Exciting news from Athletics Ireland this week!

We are delighted to be working with Athletics Northern Ireland and the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon in hosting the 2021 National Senior Marathon Championships on Sunday October 3rd.

 

There will be 100 male and 100 female National Championship entries available, and expressions of interest is now sought from athletes who have acquired suitable times over the last 3 years.

 

Click HERE to complete expression of interest form. The form must be completed by Thursday 19th August 2021.

 

Runners already entered in the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will have the opportunity to be included in the National Championships at a later date.

 

The price of registration is £63.

Organisers are delighted with the 6,600 entries which closed weeks ago in what is easily the biggest event of its kind and one of the largest in Ireland.

 

 

Traffic Disruption for Belfast City Half Marathon

The 13.1 mile race through Belfast will welcome record numbers on Sunday 22nd September with 6,600 runners taking to the streets for the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon. Not only does the event retain its position as the largest half marathon event in Northern Ireland, but 2024 will also be the biggest in its own 11 year history.
