As part of Volunteer Week, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the amazing volunteers who support Belfast City Marathon events throughout the year.
From cheering participants on course and handing out water, to assisting with registration, marshalling routes and helping at the finish line, our volunteers play a vital role in creating safe, enjoyable and memorable experiences for thousands of runners and walkers at every event.
Their enthusiasm, commitment and community spirit are at the heart of what makes our events so special. Whether rain or shine, our volunteers always show up with smiles, encouragement and endless support for participants of all abilities.

Would you like to get involved and experience the excitement of race day from the other side of the course?
We are currently recruiting volunteers for the Belfast City Half Marathon taking place this September. Volunteering is a fantastic way to support your local community, meet new people and be part of one of Northern Ireland’s biggest sporting events.
There are a variety of roles available on race weekend, and no previous experience is required.
