As the city prepares to welcome thousands of runners and spectators for marathon weekend, organisers have confirmed a range of discounted parking options and important travel updates to help participants plan their journey with ease.

As anticipation builds for the upcoming marathon and team relay, organisers are placing a strong emphasis on participant wellbeing, reminding all runners that their safety must always come first. With race day approaching, entrants are being encouraged to take a moment to familiarise themselves with important medical guidance and to remain aware of how they feel before and during the event.

The countdown is on for one of the most exciting weekends in the Belfast City Marathon calendar, as this year’s Marathon Expo and Pack Collection gets set to take place in the iconic Waterfront Hall.

Running clubs are invited to sign up for the Running Club Village at the 2026 Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon and Team Relay.

Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon is proud to announce Gaitway as its Charity Spotlight for March, shining a well-deserved light on the life-changing work the organisation carries out to support children and young people with cerebral palsy across Northern Ireland.

In Partnership with the Daily Mile NI we visited Cranmore Integrated Nursery and Primary School to do a Mini Relay with the P6's! As part of our Mind Body Miles Campaign, we want to encourage everyone regardless of age, gender or ability on how to stay active and healthy.
