This Sunday, 21s June, Daisy Masterson will take on the challenge of the Belfast Marathon, running in support of Endo Ireland, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by endometriosis across Ireland.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition that affects an estimated 1 in 7 women in Ireland, causing symptoms such as severe pain, fatigue, and fertility challenges. Despite its prevalence, it currently takes an average of nine years to receive a diagnosis, leaving many individuals struggling without answers or support.
Through advocacy, education, awareness campaigns, and support services, Endo Ireland works tirelessly to improve diagnosis times, increase public understanding of the condition, and ensure those affected receive the care they need.
Daisy's 10K effort aims not only to raise vital funds for the organisation but also to shine a spotlight on the realities of living with endometriosis and the importance of early diagnosis and support.
Members of the public can support Daisy's fundraising campaign by making a donation through her fundraising page. Every contribution will help Endo Ireland continue its important work supporting the endometriosis community across the country.
Those interested in fundraising for Endo Ireland in the future are encouraged to contact the charity directly at info@endo.ie.
