
Runners preparing for the 2026 Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon are invited to take part in the upcoming Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon Long Pacer Run on Sunday, April 12th, with support from members of the Charles Hurst Pacing Team.
The Long Pacer Run is a key milestone in many marathon training plans, giving participants the opportunity to practice their race pace, build confidence and get valuable advice from experienced pacers ahead of race day.
Several members of the Charles Hurst pacing team will be in attendance, offering guidance and support to runners targeting a range of marathon finish times.

Participants will have the chance to meet their pacers, run alongside others targeting similar finish times and ask questions about pacing strategy, race preparation and marathon day tips.
The Belfast City Marathon pacing team plays an important role in helping runners achieve their goals on race day, and the Long Pacer Run offers a great opportunity to connect with them during the final stages of marathon training.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best or simply hoping to cross the finish line strong, this session is designed to help you stay on track and feel confident heading into marathon weekend.
Runners planning to attend are encouraged to join the pace group closest to their goal marathon time and enjoy a supportive training run with fellow participants.
