The Moy Park Belfast City Marathon is calling on all local musicians, church groups, choirs, and performers to bring the city streets of Belfast to life on Sunday, May 4th, 2025.
Organisers are looking for entertainers to perform along the marathon route, to provide motivation, encouragement and excitement for runners and spectators alike – showcasing a taste of Belfast’s culture on one of the biggest sporting days in Northern Ireland’s calendar.
With thousands of participants and supporters lining the 26.2-mile course, the event presents a fantastic opportunity for performers to get involved, whilst gaining huge social media coverage from not only Belfast City Marathon but also those participating and spectating.
The Rock Choir led by Sophie Giraudeau performed to thousands at the 2024 Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon in September https://fb.watch/xwxXKyvv5N/ and is looking forward to her return in 2025.
"We had an incredible time performing at the Half Marathon back in September! There was such an electric atmosphere, and being part of that excitement was truly amazing. The runners' faces lit up when they heard the music, and we received countless 'Thank yous!’ during the event from both runners as well as the crowds of friends and family there to cheer on their loved ones. Even after the race, we got messages from people taking part in the marathon, telling us that our singing gave them a new burst of energy in the middle of their run!"
