Your 2025 Moy Park Belfast City Medal has been revealed!
The medal depicts a map of Belfast, the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, standing on the banks of the River Lagan. A vibrant city full of surprises and hidden gems, Belfast is known worldwide for its hospitality. Indeed, the Moy Park Belfast City Marathon has become renowned for its incredible local support and crowds to cheer you on throughout your Marathon, Team Relay or 8 Mile Walk journey.

The 26.2 mile route is an incredible tour of the city illustrated on the medal, passing through all 4 areas – North, South, East and West. Cultural landmarks are soaked up along the way, including the iconic Stormont, The Big Fish, Rise Sculpture, Belfast City Hall, and peaks of the towering Harland and Wolff cranes.

Record participation is expected at this year’s highly anticipated event, taking place on Sunday 4th May. The Marathon remains to be the first and only in Ireland to join the World Athletics Road Race Series, serving as an endorsement of the events quality and standing.

Finishers will collect their well-earned medal on Sunday 4th May at the finish line at Ormeau Park, the oldest municipal park in the city.

The medal is designed with space on the back for an Itab insert – an iTAB lets you personalise your medal with your name and finish time. The special plate inserts into the marked area on the back of your medal. You can order your iTAB at point of registration or if you already have an entry, you can add one on via the manage my booking facility on Eventmaster.

The marathon & relay  is now SOLD OUT with thousands set to take the streets making it the biggest in the city’s history. However you can choose the 8 Mile Walk! Secure your entry now at www.belfastcitymarathon.com but act fast as these events are expected to sell out too.
