On Saturday 23rd May Athletics from across the country and beyond took part in the Belfast Record Breaker at Mary Peters Track.
Belfast City Marathon were proud to sponsor the British Milers Club event where competitors raced in distances from ranging from 800m to 3000m. One of the most notable performances of the day was in the Mens Mile race where Joe Tuffin set a new meeting, facility and British Miles Club Record of 3.54.06. This race has been dedicated as the John Allen mile in memory of our previous chair, John was a stalwart in the Athletics community across the country and guided and transformed the sport here in NI throughout his years of dedication.
