Last month more than 2,800 runners, joggers and walkers took on the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Virtual Half Marathon and 5K. Participants completed their challenge from 22 different countries including USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Germany and France between 1^st – 3^rd May.

More than 2,800 walkers, joggers and runners took to the roads across Northern Ireland and further afield to complete the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Virtual Half Marathon and 5K between 1st - 3rd May.

The 13.1 mile race through Belfast will welcome record numbers on Sunday 22^nd September with 6,600 runners taking to the streets for the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon. Not only does the event retain its position as the largest half marathon event in Northern Ireland, but 2024 will also be the biggest in its own 11 year history.

Current title holder Anne Marie McGlynn will face a major challenge defending her Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon title this Sunday (start 9am at Ormeau Embankment). Organisers are delighted with the 6,600 entries which closed weeks ago in what is easily the biggest event of its kind and one of the largest in Ireland.
