Current title holder Anne Marie McGlynn will face a major challenge defending her Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon title this Sunday (start 9am at Ormeau Embankment). Organisers are delighted with the 6,600 entries which closed weeks ago in what is easily the biggest event of its kind and one of the largest in Ireland.

The 13.1 mile race through Belfast will welcome record numbers on Sunday 22^nd September with 6,600 runners taking to the streets for the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon. Not only does the event retain its position as the largest half marathon event in Northern Ireland, but 2024 will also be the biggest in its own 11 year history.

David (65) and April Clarke (32) achieved the Guinness World Record for fastest half marathon ran by parent and child (mixed) at Larne on 28^th August 2022 in a combined time of 2 hours 44 minutes and 2 seconds, taking 1 minute and 30 seconds off the previous record. 

A huge congratulations to our wheelchair winner, Jayne Bleakley, who crossed the finish line on Sunday 17th September in a time of 01:41:39 to secure her spot on the podium 𝗔𝗡𝗗 become the first ever lady to win the Mash Direct Belfast City Half Marathon Wheelchair Race.
