“I highly recommend lots of hill training for the marathon. It gives runners a strong base and fitness level without the risk of injury that speed can cause. Also, introduce a marathon tempo (marathon pace) early in training and increase the distance weekly to get your body used to race pace.”
Noel is one of the Official 3 hour Pacers for the 39th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon..
We have 16 pacers taking part on Sunday 3rd May 2020 with pacing times starting at 3 hours...and BRAND NEW for 2020...pacers for 4 hours 45!.
