Ramona Vrancut (Whiteabbey) along with 4 of her nursing colleagues, are taking part in the Moy Park Belfast City Marathon Team Relay Challenge on Sunday 5th May and raising funds for Air Ambulance NI. Ramona and her colleagues work in the Day Procedure Unit at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.

Hilary Duddy, from the Waterside, Derry/Londonderry, was on her way to a charity event in Belfast on her classic motorbike 28th September 2019, travelling along the Glenshane Pass when she came off her bike and her world literally turned upside down. Unbeknown to Hilary at the time, the extent of her injuries were so severe, that the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) was tasked to the incident by air.

With just 8 weeks to Christmas, Air Ambulance NI is highlighting the fact that the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service team will be on duty on Christmas day, and every day of the year, there for us all should the worst happen. During the month of December, the medics anticipate being called upon on over 60 occasions.

It was an early start on Father’s Day morning as supercar owners from across Ireland headed off to Bishopscourt Racing Circuit to take part in a promotional video for the Air Ambulance NI Supercar Extravaganza event taking place in July.
Lamborghini’s, McLaren’s, Aston Martin’s, and a host of other high-end supercars gathered for a morning on the racing circuit to help promote the weekend display and on track entertainment.

A Tesco cab has been branded up to raise support for local charity, Air Ambulance NI. The vehicle has been wrapped in red, including the charity logo, image of the helicopter that serves our community daily, and a simple message, ‘please support’. The partnership between Tesco and Air Ambulance NI is in place for two years.

Just over two years ago, Lee-Anne and her husband Greg had everything to look forward to with their two young children, Dylan aged 4 and Jasmine aged almost 2. They were working on renovations to their new home in Lisburn, having returned to Northern Ireland from living in England.
