Andrew McSparran aka @BigDaddySlims has come on board to support Air Ambulance NI. Andrew will be encouraging people to run, walk or relay in the 2025 Moy Park Belfast City Marathon for the charity and sharing recipes to help people in training and carb loading before the event.

Seventy years ago, on the 6th May 1954, Roger Bannister became the first man in the World to run under 4 minutes for the one mile. Seven decades later the ability to run four laps of a track in under a minute per lap is a feat achieved by fewer men than have reached the summit of Everest. Locally only 14 men from Northern Ireland can call themselves a member of the sub four club and only two of those have been achieved this century.
