Reminder of Half Marathon Medical Instructions

In preparation for race day, it’s essential you read the medical instructions in full HERE.

 

If you are experiencing ANY of the following symptoms please do not attempt to take part on Sunday 22nd September:

 

❗️Viral Infections

❗️Cough or cold

❗️Infection

❗️Chest discomfort

❗️Chest pain

❗️Palpatations or breathlessness

❗️General feeling of being unwell

❗️Any changes in your normal medication

 

‼️ IMPORTANT information for those impacted by the following conditions:

 

1) Any patrons with Anaphylaxis should carry 2 autoinjectors while participating in the half marathon

 

2) Any patrons suffering from Asthma should carry their inhaler eg Salbutamol at all times

 

3) Any patrons suffering from Diabetes should run with glucose gels on their person during the half marathon. Please ensure to have used the brand during pre event training

 

**IMPORTANT:  PLEASE ENSURE YOU COMPLETE YOUR EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS ON THE BACK OF YOUR RACE NUMBER AHEAD OF RACE DAY**

 

*Should you need to defer your place to 2020 for medical/injury reasons, please contact the Marathon Team before Friday 13th September at info@belfastcitymarathon.org
