Victory for Barnaba Kipkoech at Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon 2024

On Sunday 22^nd September close to 6,600 participants took part to celebrate the 11^th year of the Belfast City Marathon at Ormeau Park – a record breaking year, making it the biggest Half Marathon in Northern Ireland.

Barnaba Kipkoech won the title of the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon in an impressive time of 1:03:48. Followed by Finn McNally achieving a time of 1:07:04 from North Belfast Harriers. In 3^rd place, with a finish time of 1:08:24 was Brhane Gebrebrhan.

For the ladies, Natasha Cockram won in a time of 1:12:47. Ann-Marie McGlynn arrived in second place in 1:13:54 from Letterkenny A.C. In third place,  Monica Silva in 1:14:59.

For the first time we had both male and female participants in today’s race. Jayne Bleakley won the female wheelchair race in a time of 1:15:56 and Karol Doherty won the male wheelchair race in 1:25:08.
