Victory for Barnaba Kipkoech at Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon 2024

Top 3 Males at the 2024 Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon 

On Sunday 22nd September close to 6,600 participants took part to celebrate the 11th year of the Belfast City Marathon at Ormeau Park – a record breaking year, making it the biggest Half Marathon in Northern Ireland.

Barnaba Kipkoech won the title of the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon in an impressive time of 1:03:48. Followed by Finn McNally achieving a time of 1:07:04 from North Belfast Harriers. In 3rd place, with a finish time of 1:08:24 was Brhane Gebrebrhan.

For the ladies, Natasha Cockram won in a time of 1:12:47. Ann-Marie McGlynn arrived in second place in 1:13:54 from Letterkenny A.C. In third place,  Monica Silva in 1:14:59.

For the first time we had both male and female participants in today’s race. Jayne Bleakley won the female wheelchair race in a time of 1:15:56 and Karol Doherty won the male wheelchair race in 1:25:08.
