Introducing your 2025 Belfast City Marathon Pacing Teams
13 December 2024
Among the runners taking to the streets of Belfast for the Moy Park Belfast City Marathon (4th May) Women’s 10k (22nd June) and Half Marathon (21st September) will be the Charles Hurst pacing teams – a group of experienced runners from athletics clubs across Northern Ireland to help you achieve your goal.
Whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned pro, pacers can be a great help in conquering your chosen distance. Not only will they act as timekeepers, but they will be full of encouragement and support to help you reach that finish line.
You should choose a pace that best reflects your training and ability level, allowing you to run at a comfortable pace throughout. If you can't decide between two paces (for example 3:00 and 3:15), it is recommended that you start with the slower pace as you can always pick it up later in the race.
Your race… your pace! 2025 will see a new line of pacers, supported by Charles Hurst (official vehicle partner of the Moy Park Belfast City Marathon events).
