Kilkeel athlete Laura Graham completes marathon distance on treadmill
05 May 2020
Massive well done to Laura Graham for completing her own 26.2 challenge last week…on her home treadmill no less!

A very emotional experience for the mum of four and elite athlete from Kilkeel who would have been taking part in our May marathon event on Sunday past. Laura hopes to compete at the 39th Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, rescheduled for Sunday 20th September 2020.
Remember we have created a brand new event open to all to complete 26.2 miles over the next number of weeks through running, walking or jogging (this challenge is not intended to be done in one day). Registration for the new Virtual Marathon Distance Run opens this Thursday to help motivate and raise much needed funds for our official nominated charity, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland. Why not get your whole household involved to complete their first ever 26.2!
Belfast City Marathon Ltd would like to stress the importance of adhering to local Government legislation on exercise during COVID-19 including social distancing. For full details and Ts and Cs of the new Virtual Marathon Distance Run, please visit our website events section here:

Final entry will be at midnight on Friday 19th June 2020.
