Official Ambassador Applications Now Open

It’s our 40th (Ruby) anniversary in 2022 and as we count down to the Marathon Sunday celebrations, we’d love to offer FIVE people an exclusive training journey to complete their very FIRST marathon!
The Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon takes place on Sunday 1st May 2022 starting at the iconic Stormont Estate, working its way across the city, finishing in Ormeau Park.
If you are a keen runner who has never completed 26.2 miles before and would be able to finish a 6-mile run comfortably by Christmas, why not register your interest for this unique Ambassador programme and be part of “The 2022 Ruby Runners”!
Successful candidates will be provided with the following complimentary programme:
- Free entry for the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon on Sunday 1st May 2022 (also includes free entry to the Sunday 18th September Half Marathon event)
- 16-week Training Plan (commencing wc 10th January)
- Full Training Kit - shorts/t-shirts/jacket/trainers
- **Monthly 1-2 hourly Q&A sessions in Belfast with Marathon health and fitness experts inclusive of Better gym strength/fitness classes (1st Tuesday of each month 7-9pm January – April inclusive) *These will provide motivation and support for individuals who wish to be part of a team, achieve their goal or reach their best time **Please note events are subject to change and some sessions may be conducted via Zoom should government guidelines apply, regarding social distancing
- Interview opportunities with Cool FM / Downtown Radio
- Ambassador photos and quotes distributed in Belfast Live and Daily Mirror NI
- 3-month citywide Health and Fitness membership with Better *Ts and Cs apply (Jan-Mar)
- Fit Quest Assessment (January) from Better
- Swim Doctor consultation and training from Better
- Fundraising Pack from Official Charity Partner, Cancer Focus NI* please note all ambassadors will be expected to raise money for Cancer Focus NI
- Complimentary training goodies from Mash Direct and so much more!
