Rankings Alert for Qualifiers of the AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Rankings
RANKINGS ALERT FOR QUALIFIERS!  The 39th Belfast City Marathon which took place on 3rd October 2021 is proud to be a qualifying race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Rankings.

We are delighted to say our results are now in the system and you can now find out where you stand in your global age group ranking. 

Simply visit HERE and search by name, age group and gender to see your current ranking. You can also filter by qualifying race if you just want to see how you performed in your age group within the 2021 Belfast City Marathon, or nationality to compare yourself against your compatriots. 

The year-long rankings period offers more than 250 events on which to score points. View the full list here https://www.worldmarathonmajors.com/races 

Up to your best two scores during the Series will count towards your final ranking and determine who gets invited to the 2022 Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships, as part of the TCS London Marathon. 

If you are interested in your world ranking, you must build a profile and “claim your result”, otherwise you will not have a chance to join our community of marathon runners from around the world or be invited to the World Championship!

Current title holder Anne Marie McGlynn will face a major challenge defending her Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon title this Sunday (start 9am at Ormeau Embankment). Organisers are delighted with the 6,600 entries which closed weeks ago in what is easily the biggest event of its kind and one of the largest in Ireland.

 

 

Traffic Disruption for Belfast City Half Marathon

The 13.1 mile race through Belfast will welcome record numbers on Sunday 22nd September with 6,600 runners taking to the streets for the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon. Not only does the event retain its position as the largest half marathon event in Northern Ireland, but 2024 will also be the biggest in its own 11 year history.
