This year, we’re excited to have HeliMedTed, our friendly mascot, joining the walk. Take on the challenge alongside our beloved mascot, and help raise funds and awareness for a lifesaving cause, Air Ambulance NI.

You can expect a beautiful, scenic route through the heart of Belfast, showcasing some of the city’s best sights. A welcoming, supportive environment for walkers of all abilities. A chance to join a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to making a difference. And fun, activities, and plenty of photo opportunities with HeliMedTed!

Grace Williams said; ‘This walk is more than just an opportunity to get active – it’s a chance to be part of something special. And by supporting your local Air Ambulance you will play your part in saving lives, brains and limbs. We are delighted to be the nominated charity partner for Moy Park Belfast City Marathon and as this is the final year of our partnership, we want to make it the best one yet!

Whether you’re walking for fitness, fun, or to support a cause, you’ll be joining a great community. Plus, with HeliMedTed cheering you on, you’ll have a blast from start to finish! So why not get some friends or family together and make a day of it – We will lining the streets of Belfast, cheering you all over the finish line!

All funds raised will help people in your community for whom the worst has happened, meaning they require pre-hospital critical care at scene.  Every day the medical team are needed on average twice per day to help people like Hannah Babe, who needed the air ambulance after she was involved in a Road Traffic Collision in 2020. Thankfully she has made a great recovery and is now a volunteer the charity. #MilesForMissions’
